Description: Fabulous all original Victorian wicker armchair. It is a very
fancy design with profuse curlicues, buttons and curved rolled arms and
back. This identical chair is pictured on page 47 of Heywood Brothers and
Wakefield Company Classic Wicker Furniture - The Complete 1898-1899
Illustrated Catalog. We have had this form as a rocker but seldom as an
armchair. The original red paper label is on the bottom of the seat. There
is a small bit of wrapping gone on the right foot. This is in simply
amazing original condition for a piece over 100 years old!
