Description: Elegant rosewood early Victorian marble top table attributed to Joseph Meeks, NYC. It has an original white marble top with normal minor stains in the top. The base of the skirt is very ornate with a ripple molding at the bottom - typical of the Meeks workshop. Below that is a beautiful open carving and carved finials. There is a hexagonal center stem with carved legs at the bottom. There is a slight veneer chip on one of the feet. A lovely center table!
