Description: A fabulous rosewood Victorian table with the original shaped white marble inset top (slight scratch in the marble). We attribute this table to Joseph Meeks, NYC. It has a rope molding carved along the edge and a most intricate open carved design in the skirt (some professional restoration and one small piece is missing). The four curved legs have fancy applied carvings. The bottom stretcher is open carved and features a boldly carved center finial. The lovely rosewood grain is very prominent over the entire piece.
