Description: Fabulous Renaissance Revival style walnut Victorian center
table attributed to Allen & Bros, Philadelphia, PA. It has an very rare
inset fossilized marble (professionally repaired). The rim around the
marble is burled with incised carved decoration. The base and skirt are
decorated with burl, carved buttons and applied and incised carvings. The
large carved center element in the middle of the stretcher is typical of
Allen & Bros furniture design. The is a lovely very fine quality table!
