Description: Gorgeous Three Piece Carved Mahogany Late Victorian Parlor Suite
with a matching loveseat, armchair, and side chair. The loveseat is gracefully curved with
a bulbous center cartouche in the cresting and deep scrolled carvings. The arms have lady
heads with long curly hair and openwork from the frame. It also has carved cabriole legs and claw feet.
The armchair has the corresponding motif with the openwork and lady heads. The side chair has the matching cresting, cabriole legs, and claw feet. We attribute this pretty set to Karpen Furniture Co, Chicago. The diamond tufted upholstery is old but very useable and attractive. There is a fine original finish throughout.
