The frame on this large outstanding sofa has magnificent three dimensional carvings and is from thick heavy stock (please see photos!). The wonderful deep and precise carvings continue on the legs and there is a beautiful center cartouche of carvings on the front base apron of the frame. The sofa has brass casters and was recently reupholstered very well by a previous owner in ornate diamond tufting that includes two matching throw pillows. The upholstery work is in very near new condition. This gorgeous sofa is one of the finest examples of upholstered walnut carved furniture we have offered.
