Description: Incredible High Style Victorian Mahogany Winged Griffin Tete a Tete
in the original finish and very old upholstery. The griffins take on a comical air with wide
open mouths with teeth and furrowed, deeply carved brows. The wings are very well
done with delicate etchings, thick open scroll carvings on the sides and exceptional
carved feet, even with toenails. The piece is framed with two beautifully framed and carved
plaques with scrolling and leaves on both sides. There is more fine detail on the side
supports and apron, all in keeping with the wonderful quality throughout. We can get
a quote on reupholstering for an extra charge, as needed. This is a form we have never
