cresting and a top round center burled medallion. There are raised burl panels on the top, sides, under the heads, and apron. The chair features comical heads at the end of the arms that are expertly carved with incising. Notice that the expressions on the faces are different. The legs are especially
well done with thick scroll carvings on the sides and claw feet with defined toenails.
The upholstery is near new with pleated diamond tufting on the back in an olive damask.
