Description: Gorgeous Laminated Rosewood Slipper Chair with full open pierced
carvings from top to bottom on the back. A deeply carved floral crest with foliage,
scrolling, grapes, fruits, and lovely "C scrolls" on the back. The beautiful needlepoint
seat appears to be original and is in remarkable condition with only slight loss (a few
stitches missing from the center). The curved apron has deeply carved roses, buds and
leaves, and small flowers that are also at the top of each leg. The legs are gently tapered with more scrolled carvings on the original petite brass casters.
