Description: Stunning Renaissance Revival Victorian armchair. This piece has leaves carved in relief on a gold background at the top. There are gilt incised fluted columns on each side. Each arm features a carved bust with wings underneath the arm. Carved claw feet are in the front. This chair was likely made by Gustave Herter, NYC but we haven't been able to find any labeled pieces that are similar. We had it reupholstered and refinished. A very formal and attractive chair!
