Description: Exquisite Gorham Sterling Teaset with tea and coffee pots, sugar and creamer, and an open waste bowl. The creamer and bowl retain their original gold wash. This fancy set has delicate finials on the lids with floral scrolled repousse. The pieces are beautifully decorated all around and are all matching. The handles of the pots are jointed and connected with what appears to be ivory rings. Notice the fancy work on the handles and spouts! The monogram is scrolled "AJL" and there are a few tiny dents. The pattern is very similar to the Gorham flatware pattern "Buttercup" and all pieces are signed "STERLING" with the Gorham anchor hallmarks. What a lovely set for elegant use or display.
