Description: Fine quality Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian sewing
stand. The top is all burled. It has two top drawers with segmented
birdseye (great indication of quality) maple interiors. The top drawer opens
with a key. The second drawer has a carved wooden pull (some minor damage
where it meets the drawer surface). Beneath that is a rounded deep drawer
that would have been used to store the thread. It has a incised carved
"handle" in front. The open carved sides feature raised burled
panels and incised panels. A very fine work table of the period!
