Description: Great quality Rococo Victorian rosewood side cabinet
attributed to Joseph Meeks, NYC. It has an open carved gallery
with carved
"C" scroll supports and a rectangular mirror surrounded by a fancy
ripple
molding typically employed by Meeks. The cabinet door mirrors have
a shaped
top with carving and are bordered by a half round moulding. There
are two
original satin wood shelves with rosewood fronts. This cabinet is
very
solid and heavy with vibrant rosewood grain. A wonderful piece!
