Description: Fabulous walnut Victorian sideboard with an original faux painted marble top. The designer of this piece made liberal use of ovals with beautiful burled oval panels, both raised and inset, used extensively. The base has two cupboard doors with two drawers above them having carved pulls. The case has curved front corners. A very impressive triple step gallery sits on top of the marble with open carved supports and sides. A carved lion's head with a ring in its mouth is centered beneath a large carved crest. If you are looking for a high style impressive Victorian sideboard in original condition this is the one!
