Description: Burled Walnut Victorian Marquetry Inlaid Oval Stand with an ebonized beveled top, delicate gilt incising around the perimeter, and an oval inlaid insert. The insert depicts musical instruments (horn, flute, tambourine) and is decorated with ribbons and foliage. Four delicately shaped carvings hang from the top on four sides. The center stem is nicely turned and adorned with the original brass buttons, gilt, and ebony highlights. Four fancy legs surround the stem with open work, complete with delicate splayed legs.
