Description: Wonderful whimsical mahogany pedestal. This most unusual
piece features a nude (woman?) standing on her hands. Her tongue
is sticking out and her feet are holding up a ball supporting the pedestal top.
The carvings remind us of those done by Karpin, Chicago but there is no
signature, just a number on the base. We have never seen anything like
this - a real conversation piece! Circa: 1900 Dimensions: 37"H x 15"Diameter Finish: Good original Price: $3450.00 |
