Description: Wonderful Victorian cherry canterbury. The entire piece is
handsomely decorated with incised carvings, applied carved rosettes and
original black and gold highlights. It has a fancy turned handle with two
brass buttons on either side. The interior has an interesting mechanism
that keeps magazines, photos, etc from crinkling up when the cabinet is
closed up. Each front flap has a great convex shaped round medallion with
musical instruments. A utilitarian and attractive cabinet!
