There are seven tapered spindles and a good size shaped seat. Notice the fine quarter sawn graining. The best features are the deeply carved dolphins with scales and finely detailed faces on each curved arm! Nicely turned legs with a center cross stretcher complete this fine chair that was in our home for about 25 years.
