Description: Wonderful heavily carved oak armchair. The back of this chair has open carved winged griffins on either side of a shaped shield. The post on each side features an open mouthed lion face. There are curved flat spindles under each arm. The arms end with a lions head. The base is curved with claw feet on front and back. There is an old separation repair in the lower back.
