Description: Unusual multi drawered quartered oak file cabinet made by
Macey Furniture Co, Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is signed and dated 1907 on
the side of one of the file drawers (see photo). There are four different
size drawers making it a very versatile storage unit. The letter size file
drawers don't have a back but they have a bottom rod to slide the files on.
The file has paneled sides and back. One of the side panels has a small
divot in it and very slight wrinkles to the veneer. Like most Macey pieces,
this has lovely quartered oak grain on the front and sides. More

Furniture" by Christian G. Carron. An attractive and functional unit!
