Description: Fine quality floor model mahogany Stella music box.
The last
patent date on the movement is 1897. We had the double comb movement
cleaned and tuned - it sounds exceptional. It is housed in an original
mahogany cabinet with a lift top and cabinet base with vertical slats to
hold the discs. It has carving on the front, reeded quarter columns
on the
corners, the original crank on the right side, and very ornate cast brass
carrying handles on each side. The back of the case is also
finished. This
beautiful machine comes with twenty original 17 1/4" discs. We would be
happy to play it for you over the phone if you can't come to hear it in
person.
