Description: Late Victorian oval mahogany partner's library table. The
solid top has a beautiful band around the top along with a carved edge. The
skirt is bowed and totally carved with a drawer on each side. Note that the
interior of the drawers is made of oak - a sign of quality. The top is
supported by four shaped acanthus carved columns. There is a thin carved
skirt under the bottom shelf. A small piece of this carving is missing (see
close-up photo). The table rests on four intricately carved claw feet. A
stylish and well made table!
