Description: Fabulous solid quartered oak petite chest in the Chippendale style. It has extensive original brass decoration including a rectangular beveled mirror frame, rope twist mirror harp, fancy base to mirror frame, cast brass pulls, buttons, rope twist columns on the front, and claw feet. The front of the chest has two small drawers over two larger ones. The larger ones feature carvings usually associated with the Chippendale block front style. There are raised panels on the sides. This is a most unusual piece of oak furniture of premier quality!
