Description: Exceptional walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian gentleman's
chest. It has seven graduated drawers with fancy original brass pulls with
wooden bar handles. The two bottom pulls have a plain replaced brass ring
on the pull. Each of the drawers has a raised panel with very attractive
book matched burled front. The sides of the chest feature a three quarter
round fluted column with a bold carving at the top and a burled panel above
that. The sides of the chest have inset burled panels with a raised burled
panel above. There is a secret lift top compartment in the top (see photo).
This is a top of the line chest in quality, condition and design.
