Description: Stylish solid quartered oak halltree originally sold by Smith,
Adams and Gibbs, Boston, MA (original label on the back of the mirror). It
has an oval beveled mirror with four original brass hat hooks and profuse
applied carvings on the sides. The bench has a lift seat. This piece was
nicely refinished by a previous owner. They also replaced the interior
"box" under the seat. When open you can see some marks left in the
refinishing process. This halltree has lovely tiger grain through out!
