Description: Victorian Rococo Mahogany Hat Tree Mirror with original
oval center
mirror in a shaped molded frame. The top crest is wonderful with
delicate carvings
and hanging three dimensional fruit, nuts and leaves. The eight
turned wooden hat hooks
are all original and there is unusual open fretwork on each side.
The mirror features more fine carvings with
leaves and scrolls on the edges and a pretty shaped shelf with lift
top lid under the mirror that is
supported by a cut out bracket with a petite finial. We have had
this same form before
