Description: Magnificent rosewood Victorian etagere signed "T. Brooks
Cabinet & Upholstery Warehouse 127 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY" in three places.
The top has a fancy carved crest and four large carved finials. This sits
over a concaved arched top with a carving in the bottom. Smaller mirrors on
each side flank a larger central mirror. There are three shaped shelves on
each side with an open carved filigree underneath each. The shelves are
supported by fancy turned columns. The top portion sits on an original
shaped marble. There is a mirrored door cabinet, serpentine shaped drawer
and side shelves in the base. The drawer has a satin wood interior and
there is one shelf in the base. It is so hard to find documented pieces of
fine quality Victorian furniture in such fine original condition - a great
etagere!
