Description: Exquisite Victorian Cased Glass Centerpiece bowl with a bold deep rose center, enamel hand painted flowers, and white exterior. The bowl rim has applied lemon yellow glass trim (see photo). The four footed silverplated base is decorated with bearded men's faces on the feet and raised dolphins with balls in their mouths as handles. There are more dolphins around the perimeter in open work center cresting. The base is signed "James W. Tufts Quadruple Plate, Boston,146." This gorgeous accessory is in fine original condition and an unusual form.
