Description: Large Brilliant Cut Glass Jar with very intricate deep cutting on the top and base. The cover has an unusual feature with an extra long rim that inserts in the jar (see photo). The rim of the jar rolls out to receive the cover. A similar jar is pictured on page 154 of "American Brilliant Cut Glass" by Bill & Louis Boggess and it is called a tobacco jar.
