Description: Gorgeous pair of Royal Vienna urns made in Austria in the
early part of the twentieth century. The were retailed by B. Altman & Co,
NYC. Benjamin Altman opened his store on 5th Ave in 1906. The urns have a
rich cobalt blue background with gold decoration. There are two painted
courting scenes on the front and back of each urn. They are signed by the
artist "Forst." They have fancy brass mounts and handles. A very
decorative pair!
