Description: Matched pair of elaborate oak carvings by R. J. Horner, NYC.
There pieces have a large hole under the top. We believe this was
originally used to hold a large rod - perhaps for a curtain. The carvings
themselves are very elaborate and well executed. They have the number "395"
stenciled on the back - a method employed by R.J. Horner. With a little
ingenuity these carvings would greatly enhance a room setting! Circa: 1900 Dimensions: 24.5"H x 12"W x 6"D Finish: Good original Price: $1650.00 for the pair |
