Description: Great Quality Quartered Oak Bar Door with a custom matching window,
both with the motif of a rising sun in the corner. The heavy bar door is shaped and carved
with three dimensional large carved reticulated turnings creating the center panel. The
window has beautiful raised clear etchings with three birds (one is flying, one sits on
a branch and one is chasing at butterfly). The rising sun is in the upper corner as it is in
the door. There are no hinges for the door but it does retain the original twist knob latch
and fancy hook lever on the sash.
These are two very unusual fine quality matching architectural pieces from the late 19th century.
