Description: Majestic two part mahogany late Victorian fireplace
mantel with mirror. The top has an intricately carved mask in the
middle and two lion heads on either side. Something likely sat on
top of the lion heads originally. The beveled mirror is surrounded
by a fancy carved molding. The base features two full figured
standing winged griffins. There is a curved carved portion above the
mantel opening. There is a sausage carved molding around the fire
place opening. With the standing winged griffins and extensive
carved moldings this is one of the best mantels we have offered for
sale!
