Description: Fabulous Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian oval shaped
dining table with nine original 15" leaves. The table extends to an
incredible 194" with all the leaves in. The solid top has a skirt with a
raised burled middle and a shaped molding in the center. There are
carvings on all four sides of the skirt. The massive split pedestal base
features four intricately carved open mouth bearded lions and fluted
columns. The base has the original ebonized accents on some of the
moldings. When opened up a center leg is exposed that gives the table extra
support. The solid chestnut slides glide easily to add and remove the leaves. The base on this table is one of the best we have ever had for a
table from this period!
