Description: Magnificent solid mahogany Victorian dining room table with six original 16" leaves. The top has a very intricate deeply carved rim and skirt (note: the leaves lack the carved edge). The split pedestal base is wonderful with recessed "S" carvings, fruit and acanthus leaves. The table sets on four large claw feet. The massive center leg has a 360 degree carved claw foot that is exposed even when the table is closed up. When totally expanded the table opens to 194 inches. As pictured here, with the six leaves in, it is 161" long. This is one of the best carved Victorian tables you are going to find!
