Description: Wonderful all original Philadelphia Chippendale style mahogany Centennial block front secretary. This piece has a fabulous carved broken arch top with a magnificent carved finial in the middle. The top portion has individual paned glass. The lid has three deep shell carvings. The interior has cutout cubbies and two drawers on either side with original brass pulls. There is also a carved front vertical drawer on each side and a drawer in the middle. The base has a wonderful block front shape with a recessed cupboard door in the middle with a carved front and fluted quarter columns on the sides. The bottom of the cabinet has a rope turned molding and sits on six ball in claw feet. Each drawer has the original fancy brass pull.
