Description: Lovely aesthetic style Victorian davenport desk. The top
gallery is very fancy with spindles, finials and incised carvings
highlighted by original black highlights. The sides and front have
beautiful burled panels. There are four drawers with original ring pulls on
the right side. The left side the same look but with false drawers. We had
a new fabric put down on the writing surface. When the lid is lifted up two
drawers and several cubbies are revealed. There are a few minor chips in
the edges consistent with normal wear. This is an extra fancy desk in this
form!
