Description: Beautiful walnut Victorian two part cylinder secretary. The
crest has a sawtooth molding on top along with incised carvings set into
burl panels. The side returns of the crest have been removed. There are
three adjustable shelves in the top section. This piece has lovely incised
carvings in the double barrel roll as well as the two inset cupboard doors
in the bottom. There are two burl faced drawers below the writing surface.
When the roll is up one can pull out the writing surface. We left the old
material on but this could be easily replaced with leather or fabric for an
extra charge. The desk interior has nice burl cutouts, cubbies and two
drawers. This desk has the remnants of a label saying it was made in
Canada. It is a wonderful Victorian cylinder secretary!
