Description: Victorian Rosewood Half Commode with the original cookie corner marble top, finished all around, and lovely birdseye maple interior in the drawer. The side stiles have three dimensional scrolled carvings and delicate vibrant cross banding. Both the drawer and door have intricate cross banding on the interiors of the picture framed moldings. There is a nicely turned shaped wooden knob on the drawer and the original paper label under the marble top reads "Kingman & Murphy, Cabinet Furniture, 93 Bleeker Street, New York."
