Description: Elegant Early Victorian Rosewood Half Commode with the original modified cookie corner white marble with beveled edge. The commode is finished all around with delicate picture framed panels and a gorgeous satinwood interior in the drawer (the sign of exceptional workmanship). The corners are rounded and correspond with the shape of the marble top. The two front feet are quite unusual with recessed double beveled rounded corners and a shaped foot.
