Description: Formal Early Victorian Walnut and Cherry Cookie Corner Half Commode with the original fruitwood interiors. The original white marble has cookie corner fronts and is beveled all around. The back is finished. The side stiles are especially well done with scrolled incised carvings, rosettes, and raised shaped burl panels. Three previous owners have signed their names in pencil on the cabinet top. The piece retains the original numbers by the cabinetmaker "219" (see photos).
