Description: Attractive Victorian Walnut Half Commode with bevel edged wood top. This wood top was added years ago and blends very well in wood tone and grain. It has nicely curved corners with a well carved fruit drawer pull. The side stiles are especially well done with open pierced heavy scroll carvings and beading and the door panel is shaped with raised figured walnut. The knob on the door is replaced, the interior shelf is missing, and the lower panel on the back is replaced. This is a very handsome piece with a couple of well done alterations.
