Description: Fabulous Ansonia crystal regulator clock with a most usual brass and oak case. The ornate top finial has flowers on the top and a floral wreath around the circumference. There are four small finials on the corners of the shaped oak top. The clock has winged figures on all four corners and beveled glasses on the front, back and sides. The front has a porcelain dial with an open escapement. The fancy pendulum has the simulated double mercury vials. The base is made of oak and has applied brass fruit. The back of the movement is signed "Ansonia Clock Co, New York." There is also a patent date on the back plate but it is hidden by one of the gears. This rare clock is gorgeous and very special!
