[clock]

Description: Rare Ansonia "Juno" swinging arm clock in original as found condition. This clock features the movement within the globe with the curved face on the outside and fancy filigree on top. The statue is of a woman holding the globe in one hand and a baton in the other. When wound up the clock will swing from side to side pivoting from the woman's left hand and keep time for a week between windings. These clocks were originally advertised as "attention getters" for store window displays. Not many of them survived. The original patination has been worn off the statue but remains mostly intact on the swing arm portion. There is a small dent in the back of the base. The gentle constant motion of the clock and the soft "tick" make it a wonderful collectable and decorative timepiece!
Circa: 1880
Dimensions: 27.5"H x 7"Diameter of base
Finish: Patination is ok on arm but gone on statue
