Description: Rare Ansonia "Juno" swinging arm clock in good original
condition. This clock features the movement within the globe with the
curved face on the outside and fancy filigree on top. The statue of the
woman holding the globe in one hand and a baton in the other has the
original bronze patination. When wound up the clock will swing from side to
side pivoting from the woman's left hand and will keep time for a week between
windings. These clocks were originally advertised as "attention getters"
for store window displays. Not many of them survived. The gentle constant
motion of the clock and the soft "tick" make it a wonderful collectable and
decorative timepiece!
