Description: Rare form walnut Victorian display case made by Johnstone
Jeanes & Co, New Bond St, London. It comes in two parts. The top display
piece has beveled glass on all four sides. The front door lifts up.
Originally it had two graduated shelves on the inside. We could easily have
these made but the owner might wish to put a large piece like a prize ship
model in it which would preclude removing the shelves. There is a thick
beveled glass on the bottom. This has a chip on one side (see photo). The
base has four solid turned legs. One of the feet has some chips in it. This
would make an excellent and unique display for a model or a collection of
small items (when the two shelves are added)!
