Description: Super fine quality solid quartered oak china closet. There is
a curved top crest with lots of applied carving including a head in the
middle. It originally had a finial on both sides of this crest. Dental
molding surround the edge of the top of the cabinet. The cabinet has an
arched concaved glass panel on each side of the door with incised carvings
at the top. The sides of the case have arched glasses. The bowed door in
front has a lovely detailed applied carving at the top. There is an open
mouthed lion head on each top corner of the cabinet. There is also a lion
head carved in the middle of the base. The cabinet has a mirrored back and
bottom and four glass shelves with a bow in the middle. It rests on four
carved claw feet. This china is very solid and of superb quality and
form!
