Description: Rare laminated rosewood Rococo Victorian child's chair. This identical chair is shown on page 95 of American Furniture of the 19th Century by Eileen and Richard Dubrow. It is very dainty with a light but sturdy frame and very ornate open carved curved back. The seat was reupholstered in the past. The legs are a bit loose (NOT broken) and should be tightened up when the chair is reupholstered. We could have this done in your fabric for an additional fee. A very rare and fancy chair!
