The left portion has a carved backsplash, bowed glass door with four adjustable shelves and a drawer on the bottom with the original cast brass hardware. The right side has a carved crest above a shaped beveled mirror. There is a curved shelf on the right side with an open carved support. The bottom portion has two drawers with fancy carvings around the key hole. There are three adjustable shelves on that side. The interior of the bookcase is an attractive birdseye maple.
