Description: Rare form Victorian revolving book stand in original black
lacquer finish. The round top has a beveled edge and incised carving in the
middle. There are two bookshelves that rotate around the turned center
post. Each of the three sides has a spindled railing with hints of the
original gilt trim on top. The base also has incised carvings and rests on
three cup feet with the original castors. A most unusual piece!
